Gear up for our Fortnite Parent & Child duos event presented by GGLeagues and COPE! Always wanted to play some games with your kid? Now you can! Team up with one parent and one kid and battle it out with other parent-child duos on Fortnite! Did we mention registration is free? Teams will participate in a 100-person lobby for the battle royale. Players will receive points based on eliminations, and placement they receive in the competition. The team with the most points will be the winner and receive a GGLeagues Championship trophy as a prize! Players must have Fortnite downloaded on a compatible device (PC or console). These events are for ages 13+.

Tournament and Stream Details

The Fortnite tournaments will take place on Saturdays at 3:00pm CT throughout the year. Tournament matches will be live-streamed on the COPE Twitch page so families can watch along! These streams will be hosted by one of COPE's content creators, Duster, and will feature live tournament commentary!

How to Join the Fortnite Duos Tournament

In order to compete in the Parent-Child Fortnite Tournament, you will need to register on our website. Follow these steps in order to register:

  1. Create separate accounts on GGLeagues for both players who will be participating
  2. One player will navigate to the My Teams Page and create a multiplayer team. This team captain will then invite their teammate to join them using the "Add Team Members" button. Alternatively, teammates can search for the name of the team they want to join on our Teams Search Page
  3. Once both players are on the team, navigate to the tournament page listed at the top of this page for the parent-child tournament you want to join.
  4. Click on the button that says "Join League" in the top right, and you are all set! You will receive email updates from GGLeagues as we get closer to the tournament start date!
